Energy inside the earth- Geothermal energy…

The whole world is trying to curb the carbon emission to save the world from further global warming. It is necessary to take a step towards saving our environment by reducing dependence on oil, confronting climate change and utilizing more renewable fuels. Solar, wind, biomass and water are not the only sources of energy but there is also one another source which should also be harnessed i.e. - geothermal heat. It is also a source of clean and environment friendly energy. ‘Geo’ means earth and ‘Therme’ means heat and thus geothermal energy is energy generated by heat stored beneath the Earth's surface. Hot water or steam from below ground can also be used to produce electricity in a geothermal plant. The biggest group of geothermal power plants in the whole world is situated in the Geysers, a geothermal field in California. The study says that the geothermal power supplies less than 1% of world’s energy which should be increased. There are few areas in California which have so much steam and hot water which can be used for generating electricity.

The use of solar power station, power wagon and mobile solar power station is increasing day by day in California and by utilizing more and more renewable energy resources, the universe can be forestalled from being devastated.
