Wind energy, evolving rapidly……

Wind power is the transfer of wind energy into useful form, such as electricity. It is produced by using wind turbines. In windmills, the wind energy is directly used to crush grain or to pump water. But the wind currently produces just over 1% of world-wide electricity use which needs to be increase. The wind energy is abundant and clean and by utilizing it, we can reduce the gas emission and save our environment. Since wind speed is not constant, a wind farm's annual energy production can never be as much as the amount of the generator nameplate ratings multiplied by the total hours in a year.

Denmark produces nearly one-fifth of its electricity with wind turbines which is the highest percentage of any country and it is fifth in the world in total wind power generation and Germany was the leading producer of wind power, with 28% of the total world capacity in 2006. In recent years, the US has added maximum wind energy and Texas, by exceeding California, has become the largest wind producer.
