Bio energy...
Bio energy is produced by the release of the stored chemical energy of fuels which is made from bio mass. Biomass is a result of solar energy which is stored by the photosynthetic activity of plants. The plants extract carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and blend it with water which produces biomass. Biomass is in agricultural waste, forest waste and even in food processing waste.
These biomass energy facilities provide the electricity from combustion of forestry and waste water also. California produces biomass from different resources such as; landfill gas, waste water system, agriculture, forestry and urban lands. It produces 11% from landfill gas, 2% from waste water, 24% from agriculture, 41% which is highest from forest and 22% from urban land. California has basically a large amount of waste which is untapped and by harnessing it; California can produce transportation fuels and electricity. It can be beneficial in many ways as this will lessen the demand of the petroleum, reduce the wastes and save world from the catastrophic effects of pollution. California is the sixth largest economy of the world, which has been demanding for more and more energy for the further development. Though California is a national leader in the development of renewable resources, still by using the renewable energy, it can save the petroleum and provide adequate energy.
